I also need an connection to the LAN network when on the balcony. Today I installed a RJ45 outlet on the balcony.

Astro-project: Outdoor power outlet

This wall on the balcony is well protected from rain. Now I have the 12 Volts outlet and the LAN network outlet available on the balcony. Very practical, not only for the telescope. The square holes I made in the lid doesn't look very good, maybe I can 3D-print a new lid later.

The LAN cable attached, above is the 230 Volts outlet (installed by a professional).

On the inside I have to connect the outdoor cable to the local network..

Big improvement relative earlier.
