Almost there, there are some scuba divers out there. They have placed statues to look at the bottom of the sea. The waterbus is the ferry we saw the second day on her way to Puerto Calero. That's the bridge we walked on earlier. Today we only take a walk on the pier. From the pier we looked back at the walk path we walked on. We said to each other, that cafe was nice, let's go back and take an ice cream. A big catamaran anchored in the harbor, it looks huge. Back to the cafe, we got coffee, ice cream and a sherbet. Going back home, now we take another street to have a look at the shops, maybe there are something we need. |
Gunilla found t-shirts here, did we say 'dos camisetas, por favor' or did we say it in English ? Don't remember, in any case we got the t-shirts. Baywatch tower, you remember the TV-series Baywatch ? It wasn't that action here, no sharks at all. Black lava rock, maybe from the volcano eruption 200 years ago. At OSU you find more information about Lanzarote volcano eruption:
Back to the hotel for a rest and then out again, about six thirty the evening starts and it become dark very quickly. We have looked around for a cheese plate for a while and at last we found a restaurant that serve chees plates a Latino restaurant. Looks nice and they played Latino music also. We share one plate and it was very big. After we finished the dinner we walked down to the beach street to walk home. We found this, there where no entrance to the stairs, what could it be? We guess it's the old market they have kept something from.
