The second part of our trip was to move on to Almunecar. It's also a costal village and we had read of archeological Roman founds.

Almunecar

Our balcony at hotel Casablanca, street Plaza San Cristobal 4.

Almunecar

The is a Roman fish sauce factory, the whole village was built around this at that time. Fish sauche was very important for the Romans.

Almunecar

The smell must be very hard to live with!

Almunecar

The white houses on the hill against the fortress. To the left it had been a Roman theatre, no sign of it today.

Almunecar

Castillo de San Miguel.

Almunecar

It was too late to visit the fortress this day, but at least we know where the entrance is placed.

Almunecar

The alleys in old city. A little bit better than we have in Stockholm!

Almunecar

Close to bus station was this old aqueduct with Roman baths. Maybe 2000 years old.

Almunecar

Old Roman bridge, it was the only one from this period left today. It wasn't easy to find but we are very stubborn people!

Almunecar

My only astrophotography from this Andalusia trip. It's Moon and Venus, if it had been clear sky we also could had seen Mars, Mercury and Jupiter.

Almunecar

My empty ice cream cup.
