Andalusia in ten days
AlmunecarThe second part of our trip was to move on to Almunecar. It's also a costal village and we had read of archeological Roman founds. ![]() Our balcony at hotel Casablanca, street Plaza San Cristobal 4. ![]() The is a Roman fish sauce factory, the whole village was built around this at that time. Fish sauche was very important for the Romans. ![]() The smell must be very hard to live with!
![]() The white houses on the hill against the fortress. To the left it had been a Roman theatre, no sign of it today. ![]() Castillo de San Miguel. ![]() It was too late to visit the fortress this day, but at least we know where the entrance is placed. ![]() The alleys in old city. A little bit better than we have in Stockholm! ![]() Close to bus station was this old aqueduct with Roman baths. Maybe 2000 years old.
