5, Reassemble all new parts:Now the fun starts, to reassemble all the new brake parts. The old disc brake to the right I could have been used for another 10000 km, but need anyway to take it apart to do something about the leaking protect cap and then it's not much extra work to replace the disc brakes at the same time. I replaced the old bolts with the new ones I got together with the roller bearings I bought earlier. Reinstall the brake caliper holder arm, these bolts should be tightened at very high torque. Look in your service manual how much torque you need for your car. You should also put some grease on the sliding surfaces, it's a special high temperature grease. Reinstall the hub (which you normally don't have to remove) and the new disc brake, don't forget the small hex screw that fixes the disc brake. Reinstall the brake caliper. Don't forget the dust protection cap. Lock the cable in the upper holder. Lock the cable in the lower holder. What a difference look the new disc brake give, a shame that I didn't paint the brake caliper. In my case I also had to clean the roller bearing and put some new grease into it.
Note: Reinstall the spring, be sure to get it in correct position. If you want to learn more about disc brakes read here:
