Day 8, Bus tour to Buda in Budapest:

We shall stay at Budapest 5 days and have plenty of time. This day we want to visit the other side of river Danuba, Buda.

We are up late today because of the loud music at night, the clock is now almost 2 pm.

We want to get to the other side of the river, that part of Budapest is Buda. We found a Hop On Hop Off guided tour that was perfect for this.

We took place on the upper floor to get a free view which let us take photos. But it's difficult, just parts of a second to decide the composition of the photo when the bus move.

Between the houses we got a glimpse of the St. Stephen's Basilica. We could read that the biggest bell weights 2150 kg.

Opera houses are always easy to recognize. Just search for the most splendid building. The opera was opened in 1884.

Budapest, Buda:

Now we cross the river Danuba and come to Buda side of Budapest. Budapest is a combination of the cities, Buda and Pest. The bridge is the Elisabeth Bridge.

The staircase lead through the garden and up to Buda Castle but we continue with the bus.

Back to the harbor on the Eastern side of the river, Pest. The last we thing we do this evening is to take a boat tour on the river. Maybe the name of the tour was "The Seven Bridges of Budapest", this is Elisabeth Bridge. You see the Citadella which we visited on top of the  hill.
