One week on the North Sea and Norwegian fjords, part 2:
Flåm:Not very much text, just enjoy the beautiful places! The third day we reach the small village Flåm, to come to this village you have to pass the fjord Aurlandsfjorden. Fjords are very deep and there is no problem for a big cruiser like this to go all the way in.
Flåm is popular and many cruiser come to this place.

Now that we have anchored it is time for a walk in Flåm.
Flåmbana Museet, Flåm Line is a single track 20 km long railway.

We decided to take a fjord tour with the smaller boat Sogneprins in the local surroundings.
|
Aurlandsfjorden is just a part of the bigger Sognefjorden.
Sognefjorden is more than 200 km long. There are countless of small waterfalls along the fjord.

These beautiful water falls are everywhere. After a short distance we turn west into Näröyfjorden.

With this small boat we come very close to the waterfalls, almost into it.

After a while we had come to Gudvangen and from here we take a bus up to the mountain and a hotel.

Later when we were back on our cruiser there were a party here, as usual.
