Why are all people rushing into the alley here ? Ah ... the WC bus of course. Saints Peter and Paul Cathedral:In this cathedral which is inside the Peter and Paul Fortress you find the Russian's emperors buried. Tombs:Enormous granite coffins, the surface is polished to be very smoth. I don't remember the name of who was buried here. But some Russian tsars were: Ivan, Peter, Elisabet, Katarina and Nikolaj. It's very beautiful inside here, all people are very quiet. More to read about the Saints Peter and Paul Cathedral:
Vision of the Seas:After 9 hour in St Petersburg we where back on our ship. A last view of St Petersburg. This ship was built 1996 and is now 15 years old. It's 279 meter long and can take up to 2500 passengers. More to read about the ship Vision of the Seas:
Fill the ship with some Russian oil, cheap I think. Sit down for a rest before we go for dinner. We are hungry now after this long day. We could pick whatever food we wanted. Nice ice sculpture. Later in the night we got a tropical party. A day with sunshine and a walk by ourselves in the city had been more interesting, but then a visa was needed. After one day out on the open sea we went back to Stockholm in Sweden the next day. As what had happen after 2022 with the Russian war against Ukraine I don't think we ever again can visit Russia.
