Chrysler Crossfire share some of its interior parts with Mercedes SLK R170 and maybe other Mercedes C and E class, year from 1997 to 2004.

Have your hands and finger clean, otherwise you will have a lot of dirty finger prints all over the interior. A fresh and working interior makes your car look much better.

5, Carbon black carpets:

Something very boring with the interior has been these grey rubber carpets. They looks very ugly and I have looked for something that make me feel better.

Which man or girl can be happy to step in a car with these ugly rubber carpets ?

At last I found something I liked, a carbon black carpet with a blue edge. The blue line match the color of the car. The old rubber carpets was very bulky too, the new give better room which is important with a small car like this.

The size of these new carpets match the space down there much better. I'm 1.8 m tall (6 feet) and even for me the space is limited on the floor, now I got almost 25 mm (1 inch) more space for the feet. The old rubber carpet was very stiff and didn't adapt to the curved floor very well.

Next time I visit the garage the vacuum cleaner has a job to do. In the case I use the car when it's very dirty outside I can have use of the old rubber carpets again, but now I have them cut down to fit better, about 5 cm at the back edge.
