Comment : The open cluster Melotte 20 with the star Mirfak in center. The star is also named Alpha Persei and is a member to the constellation Perseus. It's a giant star at a distance of 510 ly from our Sun. It's surrounded of a lot of stars which make it beautiful to look at. This lens compare to the earlier only has half the fov which is a bit narrow for this object.

Comment : One of few photos taken with my Sigma 150 mm APO lens. The fov of this lens correspond well to this object, the fov is twice the size of the object. The bright star at up in the middle is Alpha Persei, or Mirfak. Best to look at it in full resolution.
