This is a new object to me, it have just come around the corner of the house. It's an open cluster of stars.
Stars are easy to take photographs of from the balcony even with high light pollution.
It doesn't looks very impressive, but click on the photo above and all details are there. |

Zooming in on the open cluster NGC 6939. That's the object up to right.
It was discovered already by William Herschel 1798.
It has a magnitude of 7.8 and can't be find without a telescope.
When looking closer there is another object at lower left, a weak spiral galaxy,
NGC 6946, magnitude 9.6. |
