Comment : | Four years later I processed the photos I took the night after. Now with more modern tools and it really helped. The sensor was very dirty, but not much of that can be seen here. There are many other objects than these three, see: Leo triplet plate solved, opens in a new window. |

Comment : | A zoom in on the Leo Triplet, It consist of the three galaxies M65, M66 and NGC 3628. This is in the Southern direction. If I had prepared it better I could had much longer exposure, now I only got 8 minutes. |
