Clouds comming over us! Observatory NOT at La Palma

Now to the dilemma for us who had the observatory scheduled after 8 pm. We had certainly been warned that the weather was not the best this season (Mars to April) of the year. Hence, we had received the full 2 weeks, usually astronomers get just a few days to observe. Here how it looked just before 8 pm, after another few minutes the clouds had risen above the dome to our frustration.

Soft Orion at La Palma

Constellation Orion, just a little bit out of focus to let the colors be more visible. The red center is the Orion nebula M42, a star birth region with lot of dusts. The red light comes from H-Alpha radiation.
