My travel in Europe:
Mallorca, Spain 2025

Day 1-2, Stockholm to Mallorca

Day 1:

As a teenager, I remember all our friends who went to Mallorca on holiday. The main goal for most was probably to sunbathe and eat good food cheaply. I was never there then, but now in 2025 we decided to visit the island of Mallorca.

Arlanda, Stockholm:

Study the flight plan. We will not arrive until midnight and then there are no busses that can take us from the airport to the hotel.

The distances from the airport is 32 km to where we stay.

Peguera:

We took a taxi to the hotel, cost about 50 Euro. Here we have got into our room, a big twin bed, a living room and a big bath room.

Day 2:

We fell asleep almost directly, next morning in daylight we took a look at our room from outside. The room have a terrace where we can relax later.

We booked the travel with breakfast included, a buffet.

They have an outdoor terrace where we could have sit if it wasn't a bit cold in the morning.

In the garden outside our room there are cactus and and also turtles hiding somewhere.

It is a small cozy hotel and that is also the reason why we chose this hotel. It is located in the small village of Peguera.

Investigating the surroundings:

First walk outside the hotel. We want to know where the beach is, looking at the map, only 150 meters away.

A store with water and other things we need.

Plata Palmira:

We were lucky with the weather, first week in April and we have +18 to 22 C degrees.

Along the beach are plenty of restaurants where we can ate later.

The water temperature are only 15 C, but we are not here to bath.

Platja Gran de Tora:

A 300 meter walk and we came to another beach, Platja Gran de Tora.

There is plenty of space at the beach this early in the season.

A bit left of the middle is our bay.

Continue following the beach until it stops.

After all this walking food is needed.

Sit down and rest with something to drink and eat. Later we walk around and looking where to rent a car. Found one place where they had an offer of, 3 days, fully insurance, free miles at a total cost of 90 Euro.
