Chrysler Crossfire
Heater blower fan replacement

This is one information page of my collection of what I have repaired on my Crossfire.

Note:
You should not do any repair on your car if you don't have enough experience and knowledge! You use this information at your own risk! Don't blame me if something goes wrong.

Content:

If you have a Mercedes SLK R170 with a 320 engine it's almost exact the same.

Note:
You have to work with the electric parts when doing a replacement of the blower. Disconnect the battery, the negative terminal ! When disconnecting the battery the alarm and radio will be reset, be sure to have any codes that's needed!

After the dash under side cower has been put away you can see the power connector to the blower fan. Snap it off carefully with a finger on each short side and gently pulling it out. Be careful, there is a lock on each short side, see next picture below.

This is the cower lid where the power connector is placed on. Under this cover lid is the blower placed. This is one of two white tabs, they slide left / right. Slide it to the open position, this is the open position. You find them at the front of the cover.
