On the roads near the lake Vättern |
The old village Röttle, part IIWe continue our walk down the river towards the lake Vättern. ![]() This is one of the more exiting places with a lot of water flowing down the waterfall. F.D. Snusfabrik och Jaensberg (former Snus factory and Jaensberg's house):![]() There are a lot of stone walls along the steep terrain. ![]() We wish we could look back in time and see what was going on here 300 hundred years ago. ![]() A lot of waste of energy, it could have been used to energize a couple of houses. But then we wouldn't have this great view. ![]() A big part of the water flow is frozen in time. ![]() Now we had come almost to the level of the lake Vättern which this river flows out to. ![]() One last dam left. ![]() Looking back from where we came from. |

Magasin (Store):![]() No ships anchor at the harbor to take cargo nowadays, in earlier days it must have been a lot of traffic of steam ships here. ![]() I have visit this place later also. Then it was summer, but it didn't give me the feeling I got from this first visit in the winter season. ![]() A winch used for something, fisherman thing, or ?
