Find and Replacing the coupe air filter:It's the same procedure as when I replaced the heater blower, the air filter is also placed under the dash on the passenger side. It's very inexpensive, about 10 Euro, and you should changed it every year. To reach the air filter you have to take away the cover lid under the dash at the passenger side. Unscrew the two screws to the left and right. With the screws away, push the cower lid back (towards front of the car) a bit and then tilt the frontend down. On the gear box console side (left hand drive car) you find this lid. The white sliders lock it in place. Pushed them towards the ends. Now they are in the unlock position. Pull the lid gently out of its place. The white item at the top is the air filter. Pull it out of its box downwards. This is how the filter looks, change it maybe once a year, but depends very much on where you drive, dusty country side or dust free environments. The new filter looks a bit different, but it works. Install your new air filter in the opposite order.
